It doesn't seem much different to me. The interface has this new liquid glass thingie. It did change the way "car play" works which I hope doesn't lead to any accidents because you look at the display in your car and the first time after the upgrade things are in different places.

My favorite thing so far has been the Sleep Score in Apple Health. By the way there's no health app for MacOS just IOS and IPadOS.

About a year ago, a buddy of mine told me that his 17 year old son was diagnosed with cancer. Just before I went on vacation he shared the video of him "ringing the bell" at a local hospital after the chemo therapy had rendered him cancer free. He turned 18 in August and we buried him today.....

The Lionsgate edition of The Wicker Man 4K is in the "Warehouse Finds" section at the Lionsgate Limited website meaning that it is almost sold out for good. However, this edition only includes one cut (theatrical) of the movie.

The Studio Canal 4K edition includes 3 cuts:



The Australian edition only has French audio on the theatrical cut and German audio on the Final cut.

The French edition only has French audio on the theatrical cut while the German edition only has German audio on the Final cut.

That’s tragic, so very young. This is devastating news for you and all concerned. I send my deepest sympathies.

I know several folk who had the ‘cancer free’ diagnosis, for some it returned, not all but a few are still here today. In 2017 I had cancer in my neck which spread and destroyed my thyroid, both were removed but I was never told that I was free of the disease, just ‘it’s stable’. I returned to work, have regular blood tests and scans and although fatigue is a problem and it took a while for my system to get used to the substitute thyroid medication I’ve enjoyed a decent level of health since.

Earlier this year a scan showed new ‘tissue’ in my lymph nodes in the same neck area, so after more Calcitonin tests, Fine needle Aspirations, Ultrasounds, PET and MRI scans, the results say my levels are ‘stable’. No operation as the cancer is so minute that going in will lead to more problems with nerves and fibres. I will continue being monitored.

I don’t feel ill, the worry is always there but you just carry on living the best life you can (stiff upper lip living in foggy olde England) but after reading your post especially the ‘bell ringing’ only a year ago I find that so heartbreaking.

I went ahead and picked that up. Turns out the only version I have seen is the 94 minute version. I may never know what's on the other cuts.

One cut may have to do.

I heard that it is now out of print.

I also bought this edition:



It is the only edition with HDR, which may, or may not, have been approved by the director. I do not know if this controversy was ever settled, but I was too curious about what the HDR grade might have added, so I bought it, too.

The Criterion is the only edition that includes a bonus movie from the director entitled Away 2019.

Now that I have these three editions I can compare them and see which one has the best A/V presentation; I just have to find the time.
