To wear sandals or not to wear sandals???

Battlefield Earth deserves the Worst Movie Ever award simply because it is actually a really great book and was so totally ruined I can't even get my wife (who loves scifi) to read it.

I'd also add Wing Commander to the worst ever list for similar reasons: The cutscenes and story in the game Wing Commander 3 were better than the movie.

In anyone's opinion, does the Directors Cut improve Alexander at all? I thought it was pretty bad in theaters.

Amen. I read this book long before the movie and thought the writing was amazing. The movie is like something you'd see at 2am on the SCI-FI channel.

As to Transformers, the movie was a letdown. I expected more. At the very least, Transformers is the same as Alexander, just different target audiences.

Okay, I'm pulling out the big guns.

Alexander is not worse that Ishtar.
