I can't really get used to FSK logo when it's THAT big. That's why I try to avoid buying German SBs whenever possible - hence the Italian F&F and hence I'm waiting for the perfect "white" Gladiator -- either from Netherlands or France.

I am totally with you and all the power to whoever can get used to it but I just don't get it. It totally destroy's the cover. It takes away so much of it but yet there's still tons who aren't bothered with it hehe.

The simplest solution to the HUGE rating logo it to put it on the shrinkwrap as a sticker -- or better yet -- put it on a slipcover and not on the actual steelbook itself.

That being said, the rating logo on the steelbook will not deter me from buying German steelbook editions of movies I want to add to my collection.

...and Fox is also pretty good about locking their blus

and BTW I'm one of those that has learned to live and even appreciate the ratings logo...I just look at them as the underdog steels or the rejects, the ones that no one likes, so I give them a home with open arms

...they are steelbooks too you know so show them some love

That looks pretty nice. Is there inside artwork? This one might pop up elsewhere like Gladiator did, so I'll probably wait to see if I can pick it up sans rating logo. I agree completely that it ruins the cover, but I'd still prefer a steelbook with a fugly ratings logo on the bottom left corner than no steelbook at all. I guess I'll be either trading out my amaray version or putting the Region A discs in it if it's region locked.

Too bad they didn't emboss the blades. That would have been sweet!

If FutureShop would release one I'm sure they would emboss it. It's a shame they didn't announce it instead of, like, Angels and Demons...

I believe MM usually have unique artwork worldwide

ppl we are safe! Kinslayer is not gonna buy this one

otherwise he/she would buy all the stock.

This artwork is not unique by any means as it is the standard artwork from the amaray cover.

At least the blue FSK logo matches the blue blu-ray band

I mean unique SteelBook artwork.., Iron Man, I am Legend, etc.. they are all different. The closest is Wanted but we all know the Germany one is 20 times better

I don't mind the Da Vinci Code MM, I hope 'Illuminati' will be just as good

I actually am going to pass on this one. Now if someone were to release a cover that matched the slip, with the embossed lettering and claws, well then that's a whole new ball game!

I like the Davinci Code as well and am looking forward to Illuminati as that will be another complete movie set in steelbook format

I wonder if it's possible for MediaMarkt to release all three X-Men movies as steels. Either separately or in a hyper-jumbo SB. It would be nice to have them as a complete set. And Batmans 89-97!
