As for his best, it has to be a 3 way tie between First Blood - Rocky and Tango & Cash(for pure 80's silliness). Out of the 3, I went the Rocky route as he wrote it as well.
Yes, Obviously I "meant" RAMBO: FIRST BLOOD PT 2

Yes, Night Hawks - as I noted; a very Under-rated flick IMO - same for COPLAND - Not many may have seen it, but at least if you can, RENT IT. You'll be surprised by his particular role. Put on some weight, played someone with a small but important to the role, disability - really good acting role I thought for Sly.

It's a toss up for me. Cliffhanger and Demolition Man.

Edit: Wow I completely forgot about Cobra. I really liked that one as a kid.

Easily the worst Stallone movie. That's why I didn't even put it on here. A lot of diversity in this poll, which is really cool. Stallone has had a lot of good roles and he definitely left his stamp on the action genre.

Some of my favs besides Rockys and Rambos are:

Cliffhanger
Over the Top
Nighthawks
Victory
Lockup
Cobra
Copland (So many great actors in this one!)

I love Stallone movies, but for me it's definitely one of the Rocky movies.

Today I felt like going with Rocky III, ask me again in a couple weeks and it will probably be one of the others

III and IV have the best fights at the end. I can't decide which one is better though.

Those are the two I switch between the most.

V never enters the fight for favorite, though I do like it.

Agreed. I can watch it for entertainment value and the street fight is still pretty cool, but it pails in comparison to the other Rocky movies.

He's good in it, but it's just an OK movie. It's pacing isn't consistent which makes the film feel uneven. It has a great cast and a potentially good story, but fails to hit the emotional beats it sets up.

It is worth watching for the great cast, and as I said before, Stallone gives a great performance. Keep low expectations and you may be surprised. I had high hopes and they fell flat.

Depends on the day you catch me here. Rocky 4 is the one I've seen the most, but I went with Demolition Man. Too much fun. Cobra and Copland are right up there too, as well as Over The Top.
