Had to go RE as it is not only a good adaptation of the games, it is the only ones I watch frequently, and looks good on Blu.

Yeap. I changed the opening to the story where they were on an airplane flying to Cairo and it was to establish who was who in the story.

None.

Everything on that list is horrendous and not worth the film it was shot on.

I voted for Silent Hill, but I also enjoyed Mortal Kombat, Tomb Raider, Resident Evil series, Doom, Dead or Alive, Hitman and Max Payne. My wife says I like everything and this list may just prove it. Please understand I'm not saying that I think all of these are great movies, just that I found some entertainment in each of them.

Oh good lord, I have to pick this up, if for nothing else, for the pure cheese factor of his motivational speech.

A great Actor like Raul Julia passes away and it's hardly mentioned, which sucks he was an awesome actor and it's kind of annoying that this was his last film. {or last movie that wasn't on TV {I believe his last one was a TV movie someone correct me if I'm wrong}}

You have to listen to Steven deSouza's commentary (yes, from the 90's laserdisc), to appreciate just what it's like when we have a director who actually PLAYED the game with his kid, and knows how to load the film down with intentional Easter eggs--
Check out the sets...Bison's control panel...Van Damme and Julia's dialogue just before the big climactic battle...
Thanks for participating! Got Em!!

Raul Julia is half the reason alone for watching the movie:
Any director will tell you it's the hardest thing in the world to do intentional tongue-in-cheek and bring it off right (Batman: the Series? Flash Gordon?)

But Julia had just come off of the Addams Family movies, and plays Bison with the deadpan of Gomez Addams bent on world domination:
"I would have wanted to meet Guile on the field of battle: One gentleman warrior to another...Then I would snap his spine--Ah, the road not taken."

Silent Hill for sure I Can't believe there is all this love going on for RE. And I also didn't know there was a Far Cry movie.

I think you've made this post before to someone else (get some new material possibly?) and while I'm not making that proclamation they are undoubtedly better than the dredge listed here.

Kind oflike how one of the last thing Orson Wells did was the animated Transformers movie...

Silent Hill because it was a decent movie that captured the feel of the game. It is also the only one on the list I consider 'watchable' (though JCVD Street Fighter is a bit of a guilty pleasure).

Also, no FFVII Advent Children? That was another one of the few good video game movies!

That, is a matter of opinion.

In my opinion, Wes Anderson movies aren't worth the film wasted to make prints out of them.

At least some video game movies I can get enjoyment out of, and not slip quietly into a coma like most people who watch Wes Anderson flicks and wait for the end.
