Glad my favorite movie this summer, District 9, with 1.85:1 is not disappointing me with it's specs. Thank you Sony.
The movie was shot at 1.85:1. Sony is just preserving the films native aspect ratio. Just as studios are preserving 2.35:1 and 2.40:1 content when films are released on Blu in that aspect ratio.
