if this is true I can finally be happy about some good news for sony and blu-ray. Its been so many bad news for blu and the ps3 that it is very hard to believe its true. Lets hope it becomes a reality.

Agreed. This post starter being beat boy is where my money is at. The introduction to the 'good news' so to speak was eerily similar to the type of writing style used for blu-crew.com news/pst. Also the same 'just wait, you'll see' type hinting we've come to know and expect from BB.

To this posters credit though, he seems adamant in his knowledge of what is going to happen. Also the poster claims he works in the industry and is afraid for his job. Usually beat boy backtracks or downplays it a few posts after someone calls BS. This 'seems' different.

As far as a good day, that could be a lot of things. Release dates for currently 'exclusive' HD-DVD's such as Batman, or simply announcing that they will now tailor to BR's bandwidth and disc size.

However, to those who are believing this.. take this 'news' with a cube of salt.. not just a grain.

Doesn't make any sense. Warner has said several times that they plan on staying format neutral for the rest of 2007. They planning on assessing their format stance after evaluating the holiday season. Who knows but, if I was a betting man, I would bet that this story is false.

The bigger question is this person so hard up for attention that they have to fabricate such a story. I guess mommy and daddy didn't give them enough love when they were a baby. Poor baby.

agreed like dry up the oceans and make it into a cube of salt. it is def. beatboys style, but the ultimatium is just so soon.
