My clock must be off, but the original poster's post date and time was yesterday around 9pm. Would we have heard the announcement this morning? Has this thread expired?

Warner Bros, I love you guys. I even own some of your shares. You guys really were leaders in the DVD revolution. I am happy you are giving us better Blu-Rays. I ask one simple thing (ok, other than going blu exclusive.). Please ship my order from your store!

Penton-Man didn't confirm or deny anything. This could be either good or bad news. So far, the smilies are a good indication. Otherwise, he's just being cruel.

So, I think it's possible there will be a major announcement tomorrow. Especially if this thread is still open and Penton-Man isn't saying anything.

Amazing thread with shock waves spreading throughout the 'HD World', lol.

Blu-ray.com has come of age.

At the very least industry players will be noting the positive Blu-ray response and acceptance (by most) HD-DVD supporters to go with this news and end the format war.

Compare to the hostile response to Paramount.

The consumer is speaking.
