The list is interesting....
may i ask who is it?

You got me. It was.....(dramatic music)...... ME.
Yes I know. You're surprised. I am too. I just realized I was sleepwalking, and logged on and started it all. I'm sorry.

Here is from the Warner Home Video corporate website. Just posting this as background data.
Take from it what you want.

"With Toshiba, WHV spearheaded the development of DVD and holds several enabling patents. In the U.S., since the format’s launch in 1997, some 200 million DVD players have been sold, and software shipments have exceeded 7 billion units with more than 43,000 movies, TV series and music video titles available. Industry experts estimated that at the end of 2006, DVD players were in close to 400 million homes worldwide, including more than 88 million homes in the U.S., and that more than 81.2% of U.S. households own at least one DVD player. (There are some 100 million players in China alone—60% CVD players, 40% DVD players.)"

You know, this is another reason why people have been wondering if it is actually true...anyone can take credit for it if it is true. If it were an HD-DUD Fudder, who could take responsibility for it? The answer is: everyone.

Edit: In other words, normally an HD-DUD Fudder wants to be able to leave his mark as to be "THE PERSON" to spread the FUD.

what would an HD-DVD'er have to gain from this? how does it hurt us, it gives us a goal to work for, strive harder to get Warner on our side...

This is true for us, but if that HD-DUD supporter is a troll, he will be laughing at all of this. That's why they would definitely want to be able to take credit for it.

Well, if in a few hours you had a "banned" description under your profile name, we would have known it was you. Because you would have two profiles on here and that usually is grounds for banning a person.

That kind of simplicity only works on AVS.
