i could not even grasp the thought of that happening red .

I guess having the back of the amp hit your foot wouldn't be as bad as the front hitting it

Spooky Mulder has a nice ring to it . Fitting since it's almost 2 am on the west coast and I can't stinkin' sleep. Spooky quiet...

The new news from Emotiva

P.S I was right about a new monoblock UPA-1

We've already mentioned the UPA-5 is in production...same amp as the UPA-7, minus two channels, at $599.

These are coming on our November shipment, in time for Christmas!

I'll have the product page up on that in the next week or two, and the opportunity to preorder will come with that. We were testing our prototype last week, and man, that is one QUIET amp.

Big Dan is looking over my shoulder right now, and telling me that pre-Christmas orders on the UPA-5 will include five Ultra Series 1 meter RCA cables, and three 3 meter Ultra Series Speaker Cables. That's, what, $125 worth of free interconnects? Nice.

As soon as the product page goes up, I'll make a link for preorders for that special.

One more thing, while we're talking all things 'Ultra' here...we have another amp in the works right now. A UPA-1. Same size as the UPA-2, but a single 250 watt channel. $299

For those of you who've been dreaming of an affordable, moderate sized monoblock, your time is coming. It is not a duplicate of the UPA-2 with only one channel, though. There are differences...bigger power module, for one.

This will be a very quiet, robust little amp. I for one, think it's an idea many people will love. No exact release date, but it's not far behind the UPA-5, and in production now.

Ok...back to the mines... :P

I don't know Mike , But I bet it would be close in comparison .

I also think that 3 or 4 of them would look sick stacked !
