I watched it with two people who confuse Star Trek with Star Wars (in other words they had no clue what Star Trek is) and they absolutely loved the movie.

Me I'm a huge TNG fan but not a fan of the original series but I still loved this movie and pre-ordered the blu-ray, so I'd definitely recommend you buy this movie.

This is very worthy of a blind buy. The audio and visuals were amazing and it should make for a stunning Blu-ray...you should'nt think twice about purchasing it.
