It's one of the best movies involving Werewolves IMO. The Blu-ray transfer however is pretty icky.

It's not the best blu in regards to PQ, but it is a great werewolf movie. I would recommend it, plus it's cheap

YES

As stated, not the best in quality for a Blu, but one hell of a great, fun film. Best werewolf movie of all time. (my opinion, and that's the one that I listen to)

I was reading up on this and it looks like at one point there was some talk about a sequeal. Not sure about the status of that however.

Yes I believe the sequel was scrapped. It was going to be called Dog Soldiers: Fresh Meat...I kid you not.

In spite of the glowing user reviews in this thread, I highly recommend you rent it first. I thought it was pretty corny.

I don't think it's available on Blu-ray but Ginger Snaps is another good one.

+1 for American Werewolf in London.

Classic movie. Award winning special effects. Funny and scary. Plus cameo by Frank Oz.

The Bluray version is pretty good too. I'm happy I bought it.

Sorry to bump this thread...after having read all of the comments here and seeing the price at $6.99...and the fact that I love this genre...I pretty much had to buy this BD. If I truly don't like it...the price isn't much more than a rental at Blockbuster
