It seems a little like censorship. If they want a forum for comments, then have a forum for comments. Otherwise it's just a cheerleading section. Comments should be monitored for personal attacks and profanity of course out of respect for decency, but hiding someone's "TF2 is overrated comment" when someone else's "TF2 ROCKS!" comment stays visible is just lame.

remember that this is a pro-bluray forum and negativity get's censored/hidden/deleted, etc..,

I can dig that, but positivity at the expense of honesty just seems so contrived. While I would prefer negativity to at least be articulate, if only the positive stuff gets shown, why don't they just make a rule in the news comments of, "You can only say positive things about news stories." Otherwise it just feels fake, and would operate like a marketing department of a studio instead of a forum for enthusiasts.

That's why I don't bother reading user reviews.

I love the "reviews" where people just ask questions about the BD or state, "I haven't seen the blu yet, but..."

Many of the Canadian blurays are only reviewed by users. Same with many reg B's etc.
There is alot of crap round the net for sure, but I feel that the user inputs here usually holds a high standard.

One has to be a member to write reviews, and have to agree to a set of rules to become a member. Common decency should go unsaid.
