I didn't like Duplicity or Public Enemies. Otherwise, it seems like a pretty good list. I really enjoyed Away We Go and would recommend it. Sugar is a very good movie about Dominican baseball players, more of a drama than a sports movie. Edge of love was beautifully photographed and some of the performances were pretty good.

A few movies that I haven't seen, but have peaked my interest are:
Adventureland
Damned United
Rudo y Cursi
Paper Heart
World's Greatest Dad
Moon
Bright Star
The Hurt Locker
Ponyo

There is also a mexican gang movie whose name escapes me.

It may be a good example of a blu ray doesn't make it a good movie. If you really want to talk about buying a blu just because of its quality then why not mention Blade Runner...Im certainly not going to rush out and buy a movie just because it looks good...besides if i wanted to show off blu ray then i would either put in blade runner or watch the first ten minutes Iam Legend....

Right..............since when did people start caring more about the technology than the movie itself. Unless of course, you actually think Transformers 2 is a good movie

The Mexican gang movie is probably Sin Nombre, which I have at home on netflix right now. It won the directing and cinematography award at Sundance this year.

I just realised I haven't bought a lot of releases for 2009 so far, not that many that were insteresting for me, so far I got

Dragonball Evolution (now be nice, I like the movie alright!)
Watchmen
Underworld Rise Of The Lycans

I also bought Hulk vs Thor/Wolverine & Wonder Woman. Slow year for me. I will get Star Trek later on this year and probably Up at one point in time.

Adventureland is a bore, it's a story that's been done before with characters you care little to none for. It's a story that's been done many times. It's rarely funny except for the Bill Hader moments which are like 2-3 scenes.

World's Greatest Dad was enjoyable and different for the first half but it suddenly becomes cliche and a bore in the second half. It loses it's charm and becomes predictable & cliche story.

Hurt Locker isn't too bad, worth a watch once but I don't see myself really revisiting that movie again. Just not enough to make watch it again.

Moon best movie of the year so far and I think Sam Rockwell is the top guy to win Best Actor.
