Did I liss out?

Hey guys

I was browsing eBay and I found RFoM for next to nothing.. I already have that game and its great !

So are there other games from the early days of PS3 that I should try out? I mean the story for RFoM is excellent and I don't want to miss any great games just because they aren't new anymore..

Currently I own:
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Resistance, Resistance 2, Burnout Paradise, Alone in the Dark: Inferno, Fifa 08, Fifa 09, NHL 08, Killzone 2, WipEout HD, Battlefield 1943, Battlefield Bad Company, Formula One, Call of Duty 3, Call of Duty 4, Motorstorm, Motorstorm: Pacific Rift, GTA 4, Dead Space and Condemned 2

Maybe this could be a good threat for nostalgia as well

I have a lot of games for trade in my sig... A lot of those were awesome games... I just beat them and moved on.

Folklore was good. Fallout 3. Bioshock.

Phew thanks for the suggestion! I saw Mirrors Edge at only £6 on Amazon.co.uk the other day! I should probably buy it

Also Call of Duty World at War is a good game, saw you have 3&4.

Mirrors Edge is a pretty fun game. The Plat is hard to get, but if you hang in there, it's doable. The game has some AWESOME colors in it, and the landscape really brings you into the game. Once you get better with the controls, it's so much fun running through the game, executing perfect jumps and maneuvers, shaving off a second here and there on your times. I can't wait for the second one!

BTW what's your next plat gonna be? I bought Uncharted Drakes Fortune monday and all I need now is to beat it on crushing Its a great game as well and really enjoy it if you don't already have it!

I didn't see any MGS4 or LBP on there. Those are probably the two best PS3 games and yes, I'm playing Uncharted 2.

Yeah that's one of the games on my list. I just bought Terminator Salvation for cheap on eBay, so I'll get an easy plat and a nice boost on my trophy score

After that, I'd like to get Wolverine, Resistance 2, Tomb Raider or Uncharted. And I'm gettin closer on Bad Company right now, but boosting takes a while

You should buy Resistance 2, but not for the trophies! One of them you have to kill 10.000 online! Might almost be impossible now I don't think there are that many online players

yeah mgs4 is like 30 bucks everywhere. I thought it was great.

Yeah it's a bummer when games no longer have an online crowd anymore. As for the 10k kill trophies, those are easier to get if you love to play the game. I just got my third Plat tonight, a very hard one - Bad Company! I've been playing on and off for a year now, and have almost 17 days of gameplay. Since I loved playing it, I got the 10k kills trophy in about 5 months of on and off playing.

I'll try to get as many trophies with Resistance 2 as possible, but I don't think I'll want to put in the effort to Plat it. Unless I really love the game, of course.

Congrats man! Really impressive ! Thats a hard plat I heard! Still workin on Uncharted but with homework, work and soccer its hard to find the time
