That feature is very cool much better then seeing a picture of a blue disc with BDMV or whatever it says. The spidey logo and the Name of the Movie is much better. hope this becomes a new standard for new releases.

i got the box set as well but the 1st and 2nd movie work fine but my pile of shit samung bd1000 wont play the 3rd nice player samsung i think its time 2 sell and get a ps3

G'day,

I posted earlier that Target was selling the boxed set for $69.99. I couldn't get it from there as it wasn't in stock yet, as someone else has posted. I ended up going to JB HiFi and I bought it for $69.98. It's the cheapest I've seen.

I personally don't think there is anything wrong with the Australian box art. I think it looks quite nice. Just thought I'd post my opinion.

Yay i live in NZ but have a US imported PS3 just ordered mine from JB HiFi in Aus cheers for the tip, although its all outa stock so not sure how long i have to wait but yay so excited!! Had to cancel a couple from amazon to pay for it which kinda lets down the stats but i will deff be picking the ones i cancelled up as soon as i have the cash!

I ordered the trilogy from dvdcrave.com.au for AUD $77 (US $67.45) incl shipping to Japan and it's already been shipped. I canceled my pre-order with dvdpacific coz it worked out to be the same price as dvdcrave.com.au.

Here is the reviews of Spidey films from an Oz website. They are pretty good though they seem to have their own share of HD-DVD fanatics. But this reviewer is not one of them.

Spidey 3 is not up yet.

It covers the disc in some detail, and they will be covering all three this week.

Lol, he means because the movie was produced and had the largest theatrical release here in the US, so he was confused as to why other areas are getting them before us. Usually US gets it first.

I dont know about Australia, but many movies have been being released in Asian and other countries because of the huge piracy problems in certain areas. Usually, when US gets it first, someone will import the movie, dupe it, and it will spread like wildfire down there, since they dont have a release at all. Giving these other territories earlier releases takes away a large part of the reason pirates are so successful down there, giving them less reasons to pirate our copies.
