Anyone watching Castle this fall? The first episode aired last monday at 10. How was it? I missed it. Anyone catch how many episodes there will be this season?

I've only seen bits of episodes here and there cuz my mom watches it. I saw a good amount from the one the other day, and it was pretty good from what I saw. Castle definitely takes the suspense up a bit by being pretty daring (he kinda James Bonds it and goes into a mobster poker club with a hidden camera)

It was pretty good. Unfortunately, it feels like the show works as being greater than the sum of its parts. Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic carry it very well, but its freshness seems to be waning...at least for me.

last nights episode was pretty good. The viewership increased to 9.56 million viewers over last weeks 9.43!

I've been watching. Last night's episode was fun. Loved it!

I also wish it was being released on Blu.

Well of course the freshness is waning; how can a show stay fresh forever? The only way to keep a show going is to change the formula a bit. I personally love Castle, but this is the season that will either make the show or break it depending on how they change the show. Whatever they do, they need to keep it funny, witty, and humorous.

Started watching this season, I think I'll continue to do so. Make no mistake I'm watching this for Mal, I'd prefer Firefly but I'm settling for this. It's the same man born into a different universe and raised a little differently. So that's The Mentalist, Castle, and NCIS, three CBS originals I watch for the leads or in NCIS' case the team as a whole.

Stana is a hottie, the budget does not seem to be great same scenes in and out of the Police Office but i do DVR it and watch it later in the week.

Me too. I DVR'd this last season and enjoyed every ep. Been DVR-ing this season too and finally watched the last four episodes over the last two nights. Discovered this season's less on drama and amp'd up on fun factor, which is fine. Mindless entertainment is what Castle ultimately is, but I'm good with that.

And +1 with the "I want it on Blu-ray" camp.

The second and third seasons are normally the best seasons for most shows. It doesn't look good when it's already waning on its sophomore year.

I'm a huge fan of Nathan and am glad he's on a cool show. I just hope it lasts a few yrs.
