I know that no amount of scientific information will change the minds of audiophiles, but I have an obligation to inform other members. Bi-wiring is an absolute and total waste of time and money, particularly for quality speakers and well-made crossovers. Audioholics did extensive scientific studies on this and published two papers on the topic and reached the same conclusion.

If you want to do something that is worthwhile, invest your money on bi-amping. Passive bi-amping has some benefits. The real benefits of bi-amping will be fully realized when you do active bi-amping with active external crossovers.
