Or could we hide the private groups? So that it's only viewable to the people that are in it?

I would love to be able to "let my hair down" in a private group discussion where anything goes. After all we are adults (which means we should be able to act like children!).

I think having the invite only groups only viewable by members (and obviously mods) would be a great idea. Sort of like we can make our user profiles only viewable by friends.

Note- Remember just because they are not an invited guest, any member can view what you write. And of course they can report the post as well.

This beats the purpose of having Social Groups to begin with though. It wouldn't make sense to create a group with only friends invited yet can't discuss what they would like to discuss because other members like to check in every now and then.

I'm just throwing in my 2 cents, here. But, I like the Social Groups. It strays away from the spammers who post "WANT TO BUY THE NEWEST CELLPHONE FOR THE CHEAPEST PRICE FROM THE FACTORY". I think it gives a more feeling of freedom. I mean, I still talk about what I want to talk about, but I still stay within the rules. I think that as long as we still follow the rules, we should be okay.
