Judy Reyes, who plays Carla, is not returning at all, and most cast members will be written out early on. Sarah Chalke, who plays Elliot is only returning for the first 6 episodes (same as Braff). Also, Sam Lloyd who plays Ted has already filmed his last episode and Neil Flynn who plays the Janitor is on The Middle now so he won't be on the show much.

I kind of wish they'd just make it a new show, sort of like Frasier. I think it could be decent but a lot of people won't like it because it is going to be so different. I also wonder how much time Bill Lawrence can devote to Scrubs now that he's running Cougar Town. I'm also not sure how it's going to work without Judy Reyes returning as Carla. Are they never going to show Turk at home?
