Dark Crystal coming in... July? - Blu-ray Forum

Forgive me if this was already posted, but I didnt see it on the front page.

Kind of early for an announcement, but I'm not complaining! Must buy!

That would be cool if it's true. Labyrinth released the same day as this movie on DVD, as well as the special edition DVDs. I'm hoping the Labyrinth blu-ray would keep the trend.

The Dark Crystal is by far my favorite film by Jim Henson. Amazing story, incredible puppetry, and the cinematography in this film is to die for.

I saw the 35mm roadshow reissue of Labyrinth recently. Dark Crystal probably looks worse, and both are in need of a good Lowry-ing before they release them. They're shot very soft focus (probably to help hide wires and the like).

hopefully thats the reason for the announcement now but a release in July. Plenty of time to work on it.
