Default Is this normal...

hey guys,

i am not sure if its normal but i just found out from my little brother that i just recieved a package from amazon sent to my other house in northern VA. i asked him to open it, and guess what he said was inside the package. 28 WEEKS LATER on BD DELIVERED. I didn't believe him, and had my sis confirm it for me, and she did.

is it normal to recieve films a week early before release date. thats weird. i placed an order for it maybe 10 days ago. oh well, when i go home this saturday, i will let you guys know how the film is in terms of PQ, AND AUDIO.

No. Normal would be that it SHIPS the weekend before the tues. release day, so as to get the title on or shortly after release day. If Amazon made a habit in shipping titles before their street dates, they'd be up to their eyeballs in fines. So this had to be shipped accidentally, and unfortunately it wasn't to my house!

well i don't know that much about UK. but in the U.S amazon could get in trouble for sending a title way too early before release date. i remember i was with my dad at Best buy purchasing an HDTV. we got there at about 830pm on monday night. for some reason we were there well past midnight around 1230 am, and i asked one of the employees if it is possible to purchase Hannibal on DVD, and he said, we would get in trouble if we sell it to you right now. every sale is recorded/followed by the distributor so i am have to assume that Fox would find out about this.
