Default When class gets cancelled...

Don't you just hate it when class gets canceled and you are forced to waste and hour and half doing nothing before your other classes? I sure as hell do. Live too far away to go back and sleep, cant exactly work on homework...not that I want to. sad face someone reply on here

I have to go back quite a few years, but I've definintely been in that situation where I lived way too far from college to warrant going back home.

I used to find a quiet upstairs part of library and crash on their couch until time for next class.

There you go....

When I was in school, the internet was not mainstream, VHS was used for movies so no portable way of watching movies , no such thing as ipods etc., although we did have walkmans... you get the idea...

Getting old is what blows, imho

Teachers require us to contact them if we can't make it. They should do the same thing. I'm glad I live in SD and not Minnesota. I'd be so angry to fight my way to school just to learn the teacher cancelled class.

Here's my schedule for Tuesdays. I either can go to the library and study or head home for a few. It's an UGH day.
9:30-11
4-10

Last night was a test so I was able to cruise home early. I actually enjoy test days in that class.

i second that. anyone want to pass the motion? i typically went to class so infrequently that i wouldn't know if the teacher canceled class. of course, i did have professors that totally forgot they had class because they were so involved writing some rebuttal, performing and experiment, totally ripping a students performance apart, etc.

btw, i was the ******* in the back of the room who either slept or had a beer cracked and had his headphones on.... i still find it amazing i graduated in four year.

you really need to learn how to schedule classes. my junior and senior year i scheduled myself around what time I MAYBE would be there. i think my schedule was typically no monday or fridays, t/th 10-3 and wed 10-2. it was something like that.

I had to take it at 9:30 it was a pre-req class for all the other classes I am enrolled in and was the only one offered this semester. Without that they would say "see ya!"...10 other people are in the same boat as myself.

I also transferred in so they screwed me out of a decent registration time this semester otherwise I would have found something to fill the day.
