I've been wrestling with this option for a while now. Just checked the price again today.

But now I'm thinking next week, if the 30% discount applies to box-sets, I'll go this route.....and use my $20RZ cert!!

Now that I see the Best Buy price ($59) it's only $10 less if I use my RZ cert....is that worth it? Do I wait for Black Friday? What are the chances that The Bourne Collection is even mentioned in any Black Friday add?

This will be the first Black Friday season since it was released.

Hmm....????

I love these movies. Have all three of them on HD DVD. Watched Supremacy the other day and just got finished watching Identity. This is how you make good action movies, not the "fast food" CGI trash like Transformers.

Agreed! These are sophisticated action movies, even more so than Bond in my opinion.

May be one of the best Action based Trilogy. I will look for these during Black Friday.

$40-45 will do for me.

Bourne has had a big influence on the Bond franchise. Some people don't like it, but I love it. I wasn't a fan of Quantum of Solace when it first came out, but I've grown to like it a lot more with repeat viewings. Even though the newest Bond films were influenced by Bourne, the Bond character still stands out enough to where I feel the franchises can co-exist.

What does everyone think of the first movie's PQ?

Maybe it is just me, but it seems .... not that great. I thought it would be reference quality.

I don't buy, it is older. Watched many older movies that look fantastic. Maybe it is because the camera and the action is constantly moving, it is hard to get a clear focused shot. Or the director's intention, it is filmed in dark overcast weather or low lit indoor scenes until the very end which also isn't too bright.

It looks very good and clean, no grain. Wondering if I should say what I really think, it is kinda a dirty word around here, DNR? I don't know much about the topic and Gladiator looked fine to me. But Bourne Identity to me the PQ seems a bit soft, not what I was expecting.

BDs are usually expensive in Taiwan, no real market yet I guess. Bourne's were originally 998NTD ($30US). Found the Bourne movies for 900NTD each and they were having a buy 2 get 1 free deal. So picked them up 600NTD ($18) each. Not great but not bad either. 3 for $54 just a little better than Amazon. I'd say the set is worth 60 bucks with no regrets. Actually $20 or less is all I really feel comfortable paying for any movie.
