Ironically the case says ABC, however it will not load in my Sony player but the other non Sony Player it plays fine

no i hadnt. I assumed when it was ABC on back I didnt have to check it

I tried on a Samsung P1500 and it didn't load. I popped in the xXx media market steel and that loaded to the menu. I'll give it another shot later tonight and try it on my PS3.

My son has a Panasonic DMP-BD80 and he said the menu came up, but the disc would not play. He loves the case and I'm getting him the US amaray release so he has a copy to watch.

I was surprised a Sony, listed Region ABC would not play.

I don't know if it's a firmware problem?

I think the disc is region locked..i bought this thinking it would be region free cause thats what the case said, but it didn't on my PS3.
