What fun shopping for good audio gear.
TT: I have used a Thorens for a very long time and am pleased with the performance. They have some new models that seem interesting. I used to sell VPI tables and hold them in high regard (you won't be disappointed). Have you considered the Sota tables? I am not current on their offerings but they used to make a good product. Amps: when I win the lottery the new Berning ZOTL 200W mono blocks will be hooked up to my Carolina Audio SM3s (currently being built). Let us know what you end up with.
