so anybody still getting the iron case? FS reads Quantity Remaining: 239 anyway walmart has the reg release for $26.83 only. will go the wally way!

and BB exclusive still at $39.99, ouch!

I will buy it, but will rent it before I open it.

If the movie is half-decent, I will open my IronCase to see what it's really like.

If the movie sucks, then I will have a dilemma.

OT, I went to a JBHifi store in Australia tonight, and saw a lot of metalpaks DVD on sale. Lots of popular titles all in one rack. Now the common consumers won't know the difference between a Metalpak and a Steelbook. And the Metalpak certainly looks better than a normal DVD case. Is thing a sign of things to come?

I hope not, but if steelbooks go mainstream, the corporate bean counters will go for the cheapest Steelbook(tm) knockoff.

Anything to increase the bottom line.

Ditto. I will be buying this as a test. To compare it with my Steelbooks. I will post my personal opinion on it after I open one up.

I am also buying this, because no matter what, it will be a better Cover and case than the amaray version.

Maybe this new case will be so cool we'll all be throwing our steelbooks in the bin and re naming this forum section the Iron Case forum.

Maybe if they made a movie about a man made out of Iron... later released a Blu-ray Steelbook of the movie with eye candy artwork, the secondary market would pay up to $200.00 USD for it?
