Any good offline co-op games

hey im lookin to buy a game that has offline stuff., where 2 people from the same console play. I have Call of Duty WaW. but im looking for more.
if theres any 3 to 4 players who can play offline in a game that would also help. thanks.
im not a big fan of online play.

Other than playing Duets in Singstar () I would say Resident Evil 5 lets you play co-op with another player in split-screen mode.

Resistance AND Resistance 2, though most would argue that the R1 co-op is more fun with a local buddy. R2 is fun for the "puzzle" element of its co-op.

resistance 2 has offline co-op play (it has its own campaign).

Trine (offline 3 player co-op)

Pixel Junk Monster (2 player co-op)

Eden (3 player co-op)

Terminator Salvation (2 player co-op)

Warhawk (has 4 player split screen)

Motorstorm PR (Split screen co-op)

Unreal tornament 3 (split screen co-op)

Little Big Planet (4 player co-op and game creation)

Legends of Wrestlemania (4 man multiplayer or 6)

All the smack down games this generation have had co-op story mode and multiplayer offline.

Both Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 and 2 are good for offline co-op.

Mushroom Wars (PSN) is cute and fun for all ages.

I think LBP gets unrightly looked over when talking about party games. Of course I can understand why but when you get 3 friends playing it, it's just too much fun.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. Can play with 4.

Gears of War 1 and 2, Army of 2 is designed specificly for co-op, Tom Clancy's Vegas and Vegas 2, and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 are some of my favorite co-op games

I agree. It's extremely fun, and has a low learning curve. Even my 5 y/o can play it.

I thiiiink Army of Two has offline co-op.

Resistance 2's co-op isn't really a realistic endeavor with just two people. A friend and I tried it. It was impossible to beat the first stage until we'd leveled up once or twice to get extremely helpful additional abilities. Then we spent a couple of hours memorizing everything, making the absolute most out of what we had, and cheesing the enemies when we could. We'd slowly get further and further until finally completing the first stage.

then we realized we'd have to do that several times again to unlock additional stages....

You need at least 3 for the R2 co-op to be any fun. 4 would probably be better.
