I would believe that. Most Blu-rays I've seen to the very end of credits has "mastered by Panasonic" or a similar saying.

As for Toshiba, I'm sure they'll probably just make a blu-ray player once they admittedly failed. The real losers in this will be the people who bought into hddvd. Toshiba will just shrug it off.
