What ever happened to EXCALIBUR?? - Blu-ray Forum

In January of '08, when Warners announced they were going solely with BluRay, they said that all titles that had previously been released only on HD would soon be available on Blu. So, where is EXCALIBUR? I've been looking forward to a Blu version of this title but there have been no official announcements or even rumors.

I have seen it rumored for 2010.

Good to hear. Excalibur is an awesome film. Keeping Up Appearances fans, look for a long haired and bearded Clive Swift in a supporting role, he played the henpecked Richard Bucket (it's Bouquet!) on KUA. Liam Neeson, Ciaran Hinds, Gabriel Byrne, Patrick Stewart also had small roles as well.

Two of director John Boorman's children: son Charlie and daughter Katrine also have minor roles as well.

Last I heard (a while ago anyway) was that it is being restored.

I'm hoping it is anyway. I remember the DVD looking rather dull.
