They know it, they just won't admit it. Amir already quit HD DVD and Microsoft is having him start on their HD-lite download crap.

no offense intended to the OP, but I am sceptical of these ''we won'' threads from newbies. after watching avs and posting at hdd.com these seem to be people fishing for quotes to show how wrong we are.

but while I agree that this will be the future outcome, we have not ''won'' yet. after xmas we may be able to say ''champion'' but until then we're still biting and gawging in the mud, the blood and the beer.

if all the blu supporters are good little boys and girls, santa will bring them all blu raus for xmas, and that will end the war. santa is pretty close to supporting bd exclusively.

trust me i love worship and adore blu ray i only bought the ps3 for blu ray the point i was trying to make is that this format war is redundant its patience we need in time hddvd will take it place in history alongside zx spectrum and the horse drawn cart while blu ray will take its place in millions of homes until the next big thing lol hd movtyme sales isnt transformers and shrek due out soon after that what even with paramount they dont get indiana jones cause the great and wonderful mr spielberg denied them indy 4 anyone

you should do your homework before you post. Top ten pre orders at Movietyme this week, four HD titles with Transformers at number 1 & only 1 Blu ray, POTC at number ten. I admit that these are just figures from an importer & don't give a true reflection of the market & Yes we've got some great titles to look forward to in the next couple of months, but its obvious the format war is far from over.

Anyone who buys a hddvd is supporting the war.Anyone who buys a hddvd is supporting the war.Anyone with both players you must stop buying hddvd. Microsoft and toshiba are playing dirty they have hired guys to blog hddvds wonderful attributes on line.Hd dvd is like a boxer with no talent trying to buy a win with cash.

As long as the PS3 is with us, we will win. HD DVD lost the day the PS3 came out. Toshiba, in desperation, has tried to bribe Paramount, Warner, and Wal-Mart to only to support HD DVD. Unfortunately for them, Warner and Wal-Mart chose the most sensible choice which was to let the consumer decide (Although I kind of doubt the Warner titles that were released on HD DVD only was because of IME, however Warner has seemed to warm up to Blu after that guy left Warner, and we are getting a TON of love from New Line)

Toshiba is losing support almost on a weekly basis, Sony is gaining support on a weekly basis. The announcements in September were a win for Sony, Hastings Entertainment, small though they are I welcome everyone, is expanding their selection of BD movies. Intel went neutral. The only notable exclusive supporters of HD DVD are Venturer, Universal, Paramount, Toshiba, Microsoft, and Memory Tech. To my understanding, Weinstein is going neutral soon right?

I honestly think that after Transformers, the doctor is going to give up and HD DVD will die.

I buy from Movietyme but this is the company most UK HD-DVD owners import from rather than buying UK disc's.

UK Blu-ray outsells HD-DVD 4-1.

Transformers and Bourne aside it's all Blu-ray.
