Hi. I received confirmation that it had shipped on september 24th, so yes, the delivery time has not passed their delivery time frame yet. The order says to expect delivery between October 4 & October 9th, October 9th is next Tuesday.

I guess I'll wait until the delivery window passes and then decide what to do. Thanks for the help offer though, I appreciate it.

Does it include audio in english? If you watch the clip on Amazon.de it is in German. Also, it doesn't mention english anywhere in the product information section.
Do they accept gift certificate from U.S. Amazon which of course is in dollars not Euros?

I´m not sure about that,

but i´ve read that the german gift certificate can only be accepted on German and Austrian Amazon.

but i´m really not sure about the US... never had a gift certificate and tried to use it...

What am I missing?
It's not distributed by Universal in Germany, they have no rights or control over the distribution many movies in other countries.

12 Monkeys are distributed by Concorde. They are distributing the following region free Blu-ray titles in Germany:

12 Monkeys - Distributed in USA by Universal
Alpha Dog - Distributed in USA by Universal
The Jackal - Distributed in USA by Universal

Black Christmas - Distributed in USA by Weinstein

Tomb Raider - Distributed in USA by Paramount
Tomb Raider 2 - Distributed in USA by Paramount
We were Soldiers - Distributed in USA by Paramount

Phantom of the Opera - Distributed in USA by Warner

Silent Hill - Distributed in USA by Sony
Underworld - Distributed in USA by Sony

Death at a Funeral - Distributed in USA by MGM (?)

Here are some of them on Amazon.de:
http://www.amazon.de/s/ref=nb_ss_w/3...0&Go.y=0&Go=Go

I personally own The Jackal and 12 Monkeys and can confirm that they are region free. Another "Universal"-movie that is available region free on Blu-ray is U-571 which I also own. It is distributed by Entertainment in Video in UK.

Concordes discs have so far included both the original soundtrack and a German soundtrack. Can't see why it would be different this time. According to Amazon.de it also looks like two tracks this time:

You must mean without original English Audio. Discs without English Audio do exist (Pan's Labyrinth, Infernal Affairs etc.) but I know of no Blu-ray disc without the original soundtrack. Blu-ray does have storage space for it and several other tracks as well.

What would be funny is if Transformers is released on blu-ray in a certain country without region locks, word spreads through the web like wild fire. Then foreign countries sell a record # of transformers on blu-ray which ends up being like 4x the total HD-DVD Transformers sold in america lol.

This is going to be my birthday present to myself.

I haven't seen this in about ten years. I almost bought the new DVD but, literally five minutes before going out the door I heard it was coming to Blu-Ray. Must be fate.

I can't wait to hear depth charges in full surround.
