No mention of the UK yet
Oops, I should have searched the main page, I did search the forum but didn't find anything specific about a UK release.

I don't like to import titles too much but if we find the UK release is going to be sometime then I may have to for this.

March 11th is still a long time to wait, I would love to own this on blu-ray now, although it's a long movie I would watch it alot.

I'd say it will be out sooner, just no mention of a date yet. Films are getting quicker and quicker, for the most part, at going from theatres to blu-ray so there should be an announcent early in the New Year

It will look amazing but I don't watch films for looks.

It's the worst Hollywood dumb film I've seen in years. It treats the viewer like an idiot.

A definite rental for those unsure. If you like the director's other work you may like it but I think everything he's done has been very poor. Real trash.

And there's no acting. Just people hitting their marks with a strangely accented director looking on via is monitor.

Anyone complaining and looking for a ''film'' when watching a ''movie'' like 2012 need their heads seeing too.

It's pure popcorn entertainment, and doesn't try and disguise that fact. Sure, it's dumb, the science is total BS and the actors are just there to fill in between the special effects, but sometimes, that's what some people want - and film has been this way since it was invented.

I'm glad you explained, I didn't have high expectations or anything so what I got was enjoyable, a popcorn flick as you say.

The effects are great and should remain that way for a good while, I heard that Michael Bay openly admits to Armageddon having alot of visual faults if it is to be shown in high definition since it wasn't originally intended for it.

But, this shouldn't have any of those kind of problems for a long time as I see it and anybody who likes pure entertainment should deffinately check it out, although long I thought it was great.

If you like to critique every movie and overanalyze, I'm sure you probably wouldn't enjoy it at all, I know I certainly don't enjoy trying to find flaws and point out everything I find wrong, it ruins the experiance but that is just my opinion.
