"Let the Right One In" is my pick. Although it's a bit different from the novel in terms of character development and depth, it's still a thought-provoking film. Dramatic, romantic and frightening at times, "Let the Right One In" is a more-than-welcome addition to the list of modern vampire tales. And of that list, it excels the most and leads the pack.

of whats listed here I chose SALEM'S LOT (1979 version)-- my favorite TV movie of all time

other favorites are HORROR OF DRACULA (Hammer-Christopher Lee) and
DRACULA (1979-- Frank Langella)

Had to vote for the 1931 Dracula, although the 1958 Hammer Dracula with Christopher Lee should be in the poll as it was FAR superior to the Gary (I am a wussy Vampire) Oldman version of Dracula.

I'd have to vote for Bram Stoker because it seems he got pretty much everything right as far as vampires are concerned in my mind.

Let The Right One In made a very strong showing as did 30 Days Of Night for going the extra mile and giving them their own language.

I voted for Interview, but Blacula is my favorite. I think it's one of the most fun vampire films ever made. I also loved the idea for Martin, but I think Romero delivered a poor finished version of it.

well then they're not vampires, as vampires can go out in daylight (in certain circumstances).

I voted for Interview, but it's a hard decision because there are so many good ones. Oh yeah CZAR, 30 Days of Night is an awesome vampire movie imo...one of the best in the last decade.

Some of my favorites: Bram Stoker's Dracula, Blade, Underworld, 30DON, Fright Night, Interview WTV, Let the Right One In.

Worst: Twilight - It took all the fun out of a vampire flick and the vampires are freaking gay!
