Default Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga

I'm surprised that this hasn't been talked about yet or gotten its own thread. Of course this game features some simple 3D graphics but the game play is great - at least the original trilogy on a PS2/PC! I do hope they fix the lagging in some levels at least on the PS3 version. It happens when things get busy.

The price is not bad either. US$49.99 for both The Trilogy and The Original Trilogy.

Here is the full trailer at GameTrailers.

And here's the game play with Indy!

Heh, the trailer is great. I only have the first one (and it's for the PC) so I might pick this up for the PS3. Thanks for the info.

I'm sold. Never bought the first two separate releases, but 'played' them on my PC. They were fun.

But HD graphics and online multiplayer? And now this week they introduce playable Indy? Even better. Definite buy for me.

My daughter and I are planning on playing together.

Looking forward to the new sixaxis abilities and 1080p.

Apparently the only new thing that the PS3 version will have is the ability to fly the fighters in the fighter levels using the motion sensing on the SixAxiS. Kinda like Lair.

Still not too bad though. I don't think there's a PS3 game out there yet that can do non-online multiplayer using one screen (and not splits like RFOM co-op). Oh yeah, you can also use multiplayer online with this game.

Our family would really appreciate more offline (drop-in) co-op on the same screen!

Not knocking graphics stunners like LAIR, Heavenly Sword, VF5 or Resistance,
But I think the Lego Star Wars games are pretty cute!!
I'm 42, and when I get to go to fieldwork at a pre-Kindergarten school, I could go to town when Legos are in the hands of the little kids I get to observe and interact with. Legos are lots of fun and really unleash your creativity.
I guess I can enjoy them as much as I do because we didn't have Lego when I was little.

I sent this to a friend who loved the trailer but was concerned it wouldn't make it to the PC. I've been trying to get him to get a PS3 so maybe this (along with the Simpsons movies -- I sent him the blu-ray release info on that and he and his wife love the Simpsons) will get him to finally get one.

I never really got why Lego Star Wars II was released on the 360 instead of the XBox. I never did, really.

Not too sure why they're releasing this for both of these consoles instead of just the previous gen since obviously, space isn't an issue, nor are graphics.

I dunno, oh well.

although the last gen releases are 'low graphics', i think there is always room for improvement. they look nice, but not perfect. on my pc anyway. draw distance was always weird. looking at videos and screenshots of the new stuff, the differences are definitely there. the pieces have a more 'real life plastic' feeling to them, and more detail in the far distance for sure.

I have the first one for PS2 and the original trilogy for the 360, so am looking forward to getting the complete saga on the PS3.

This is something I will definetly rent first. Has anyone noticed they are coming out with a Lego Indiana Jones as well? I saw a trailer on my cell phone for it but it didn't say when it would come out.

I don't know if I want to play Lego Batman, especially considering the funky Schumacher versions. But then again, that'll make it extra cheesy as a game... Hmmm.

Lego Indy would be a blast!
