bpm,
Awesome work with James Bond covers!!! I don't own any of the 007 movies on blu yet, so maybe later I can request the covers from you.

aggie,
Great "Leon" cover, sooooo much better than that chessy original cover. I even hated that cover for the DVD release. I don't know why they thought to use it for the BD release also??? Anywayz, I agree with the others about dropping the "Experience High Definition" logo at the bottom, but I also liked the front more before you darkened the face so much...and yeah, just a tad bit too much shine on the synopsis imo. Don't get me wrong, still a great cover!!!

On just the front, correct?

Me personally, I would have original lettering on the front and the spine, but you said you like uniformity, so it's up to you!

I wouldn't mind do that on the front, I think that would look cool. I'll try it tonight, but the spine I want to look the same across the board. Does the format look alright?

I think the format is interesting, but if they are all one color it could get a little stale. Perhaps integrating a color more film specific instead of the red would add some interest. There would still be uniformity in the design.

A green Incredible Hulk cover or perhaps some black Batman covers would be nice.

Kind of reminds me of a series of covers I saw here that included 300, Alexander Re-visited, Ben-Hur, and Troy.

Here is the one for Troy.

And the others.

I just read the last 3 or 4 pages, and i wanted to thank you guys for all your work!
Are there any digibook cases that have not gotten good custom covers yet? I only have a few digibook movies such as 300, Matrix, and Willy Wonka. I have seen some pretty good ones for Matrix and 300, but for Willy Wonka I had to do a quick and dirty scanned conversion by myself. It was kind of a hack job where I just pulled the spine text from the HD-DVD cover (replacing the logo with the Blu-ray logo of course), since the digibook had purple text on black background. It was really unfinished, but I printed it anyway just to see if I liked the spine text or I was going to start over on it and never bothered to get back to it. If anyone with more skill would like to work on making it decent I could email them what I have.

Also does anyone have any advice on trying to scan steelbook covers? I have all 13 Disney ones and I have started trying to mess around with scanning them and pretending I have the ability to make custom covers. Or if I ever get decent scans maybe somebody would like try their hand at making covers out of them. PM me if interested.

What if I put a uniform spine on everything... like an old leather book with a separate color spine binding that wraps over the spine and onto a small portion of both the front and back... that way when they're on my shelf it looks the same, but the actual front and back covers are different colors? That way the binding strips would run across the top and bottom to give the spine some extra color still.

Most all digi books have been coverted. Bonnie and Clyde, One Flew, The Green Mile, Shawshank, Poltergiest and Amadeus have all been done already.

I took some of your advice and started altering the template I had.

What I've done so far is I find a separate leather texture for the main pieces of the front and back, and left an all red spine that goes about 150 pixels in from the spine on either side... I left that texture the same, it's a different style of leather than what I am using now for the front covers. I'm going to play around with it, because it looks kind of odd right now. The texture is pretty similar to those above actually... not sure if it meshes well or not with the other leather I already used.

North by Northwest needs to be done BADLY! I found a hi-res scan of the digibook cover but lack the artist know-how to make a cover for this great film. Can anyone help?

Anyone care to make this happen?

Has anyone made any star wars: clone wars covers (series) covers? I've seen the one on here that I really like... just wondered if anyone else had made one.

Also, is there anyway someone can make an Empire custom cover with a snowtrooper worked into the cover?

PLZ

No. One guy put one up but hasn't replied to any questions so I don't know if he's around anymore.

And for the Empire one, no.

I suck at covers.

So you don't like the one with the original poster art that was made?

Here is the final Judd Apatow Collection cover. Also, for those of you interested in the Léon cover: I will have a final up soon with all your suggestions.

Now, if you really want this cover and agree to the rules of keeping the integrity of this thread intact (was discussed thoroughly on pgs. 93-95, if you missed it then look back) then pm me and I'll see about getting you the link.

Got the Ultimate Harry Potter sets today, and I hate the box. So, I whipped these up to fit a standard 3 disc case:
