Not sure if this belongs here or not, but this seems to be for any digital/tech hot deal.
1000's of Album MP3 for $4 each. 7digital is a huge and legal download site based in the UK and recently moved into the US market. I believe everything to be DRM free. Albums I have found so far inclure Lady Gaga, Spearhead, the (almost) complete Rolling Stone catalogue, Nirvana's catalogue, James Brown (check out Star Time-71 track 4CD box set for $4!), Sheryl Crow, Jimmy Buffet, Bob Marley, Elton John, MIA, U2, Micael Jackson, The Black Eyed Peas, Sting, etc etc etc $2 albums of Rhianna, Owl City, Taylor Swift, Eminem, The Killer with more being added daily... Most tracks are 320MP3's. Great opportunity to load up the ipod for cheap. Only downside, the download manager is very slow... Last edited by Raymond23; 12-09-2009 at 03:59 AM. |

Looking through the deals (since there is no way to just look at the sale items, and you just have to go looking at everything...ggrrrr), it looks like the sale applies to Universal releases only. Thats still a massive catalog. But, knowing it's Universay releases, one can google the names of all artists signed by Universal, figure out who you like from that list and go shopping.
I picked up a bunch of stuff. The biggest purchases was the rntire Rolling Stones studio catalogue (all but the oldest stuff has been remastered). I am still floored by how big their discography is...still expensive to get everything, but was cheaper then the Beatles set that I picked up in the Amazon GB on BF. Also got most of the G+R albums (which I have been without since I ditched my old casette tapes 2 decades ago), got some BB King, a few "best of" sets, a few Jazz albums, and a few current releases (Lady Gaga, Spearfish). Still debating if I should expand my Nirvana catalogue a bit... |

![]() Sigh... Blu-ray Forum > Other > Hot Deals Forum > Massive $4 MP3 sale at 7digital.com Last time I check, MP3's are not Bluray. They are a Hot Deal, and they are "Other". ![]() Just like banana plugs, speakers, universal remotes, video games and all the "other" bluray hot deals I see listed here daily... ![]() |

One could argue that remotes, speakers, are blu-ray related because you would need them to play blu-rays for home theaters. So are TVs, receivers, and anything needed or used with Blu-ray playback. Video games are PS3/BLU-RAYs so they too are relevant. MP3s are NOT even remotely blu-ray related. ![]() However, I will move on now. I'm not looking to get a 1-week ban for arguing semantics with you. |
