Hi folks. Here are a few shots of my little 5.1+1 system. The newest addition is a Pioneer Elite SC-27 running my rear surrounds and serving as a pre-amp for the rest of the system. The XPA-5 is driving the front stage. I know the subs are not placed ideally, but I do have a bit of a space constraint. Honestly, they sound great in the corner there. I'm very fond of the tower. I do realise the space in my equipment rack is a little cramped, but the SC-27 and XPA-5 stay quite cool (warmish to the touch) after hours of play, so I think ventilation is adequate. Thanks for looking.

And the sub's FR (15 Hz Tune):

very nice, of course you need to create a gallery so we can rate it and make comments. and you need a signature to say what kind of tv, speakers, sub you have etc. cause people are going to be asking because it's not listed. I have an XPA-5 myself so I know your happy with that as am I!

again, very, very nice and are those two subs stacked or is that just one gigantic sub?

Hi solarrdadd. Thanks very much for the kind words. The subs are a pair of PB13Us stacked. I'm working on the HT gallery.

Wow on the subs. I would have one in the front and one in the back if possible. If it has to be like that...get a spacer/riser to separate them. Looks good. Create a gallery.

Edit: I see you already created a gallery.

Wonderful set-up, I'm sure it sounds amazing. Is your blu-ray player the 350 or the 550? It looks like you're using some sort of isolator for it, what exactly are you using if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks guys!

Sean MF- Yeah, as for the subs, I do realise spreading them our would yeild a better over all sound, but I love the slam I get in the corner there.

Jwilly019-The BD player is the S550. It did put it up on wooden risers as I just didn't like the low clearance of the feet on the player. I wanted to get it up a little higher. They are actually wooden tinker toy wheels I covered with black electrical tape. It did the job nicely.

I love it! That Emo center looks like it was made for those Polks.

Love the dual subs, I think the finish matches my speakers nicely. Feel free to ship one this way!

You can't go wrong with the Emo amp either!

I have been thinking about either getting a PB-13 Ultra or two PB-12’s Plus. I wasn’t sure if the two PB-12’s would out power the bookshelf speakers I have or should I just stick with the one PB-13, but seeing as you have two PB-13 Ultra’s It looks as if it wouldn’t be a problem. I guess I will order mine over the weekend.

croseiv, Thank you for the rating and kind comment my friend. Gave you one as well. You are correct on the surrounds. I used the same cabinet, and mid-bass driver, but linear ribbon tweeters, and different crossover. Welcome Buddy, and NICE system! D.

It’s unchanged but it still performing no doubt. That Pioneer Elite isn’t due for replacement for long time, wow nice beast of an animal it is.

SVS/Subs are still located where they were last time.
The frequency sweep graph shows nice extension below 20Hz

Merry Christmas
