I am assuming this isn't grain as it is color specific, but something else?
I have had this myself on some movies. The close up was crystal clear but far away was grainy. I think some movies are made like this, however I could be wrong. I have watched other movies and everything is crystal clear. The settings on the tv were the same for both. Sorry for not really having an answer for you. When I first got my tv the first movie I watched was like this. I was not very happy. Try some other movies and see what happens.
