Check the reviews on the titles you're interested, and set them in your price tracker.

Go to Costco and pick up Band Of Brothers for $29.99 while you can! Easily one of the top bargains this holiday season!

I wouldn't say the PQ/AQ is the absolute best but The Descent is really amazing for only $10. Plus the movie is really badass itself

"Live Free or Die Hard" has better PQ/AQ than Rambo (2008) and it is $1.50 cheaper

I would have to agree with Band of Brothers. At that price you should not pass it up, great PQ/AQ and for twice the cost of a single movie, you get 4 times the content.

When I think of value I think of blade runner. It is the epitome of what I hope all catalog blu Ray releases should be.

I think some people are basing the movie into things while the OP clearly asked for picture/audio quality along with price only.

Rambo's dull greyish picture lacks a bit and sure isn't 5-star. The audio while good, still had weak 'surround' activity despite being 7.1... So pass on that if you want the most bang for the buck P/AQ wise.

I don't have things priced so it is hard to give a soild recommendation but you can not go wrong with Die Hard 4.0 priced at $10.49. It was one hell of a steal at $7.99 on Black Friday

I JUST REMEMBERED: I, Robot is another GREAT choice! ONLY $10.00 at Walmart

You can also use a 20th Century Fox manufacturer coupon to save $3!

In turn effectively making I, Robot only $7!

Master and Commander is a good one that hasn't been mentioned yet. (My vote for best value would have to be Band of Brothers).

Not SUPER cheap. But if you want MAXIMUM PQ/AQ.. Check out Star Trek, Rambo, UP, Wall E, Transformers 1 or ROtF, Band of Brothers also. All of them may not be like $10.. But they're the best to date.

Almost every Criterion release is packed with louds of supplements and offers the best in AQ and PQ. They aren't cheap, but they are among the best Blus out there. I'm still waiting on Band of Brothers to come in the mail, but given the fact that I've heard nothing but positive reviews on the set, and given its crazy cheap price, it is well worth it. Out of my collection, I would have to say either The Dark Knight ($15 AMZ) or Iron Man once it goes down in price (didn't realize it was so expensive, but it is one of the Blus I rewatch the most). They both have excellent PQ and AQ and the extras are actually interesting and decent in quantity.

Reservoir Dogs has poor PQ and the audio isn't anything to get excited about.

At this moment you can get it for $7.99 at Amazon.com and many have bought it for $4.99 at Target using the $5 off coupon

AMAZING audio but nothing mind blowing PQ wise.

I don't think I have found any reference quality Criterion releases as far as audio 'and' picture quality is concerned. Sure they do a great job with features and transfer wise, but they just haven't hit a reference home run in part to them not having recent block buster movies. Those kinds of movies aren't Criterion's forte, so it stands a good reason why they don't have any reference titles. I think "The Rock" is the closest I can remember Criterion having to having one but Disney now has the rights to it. I'm cheap and feel they are over priced as they rarely can be had for under $20. Not much bang for the buck PQ/AQ wise IMO

and before I get corrected, Paramount's "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" was done by Criterion, but in my mind I don't count it. If you wanna count that, it is their reference Blu PQ 'and' AQ wise. Warner also released this overseas.
