also everyone, take a look at the top of the OP of this thread, groo has thrown down the gauntlet on god of war 1 speed run! the only conditions are:

play on easy
no costumes

AND THATS IT! post your best times meeting those condtions and lets see who the fastest on the site is!

lol No no, i'm still not done the game yet

. I'm in the Aphrodite room (i think) where the scroll says that only she knows the secret way out... and i still don't haha, so i'll just go to Youtube for help.

No, it's the room with Poseidon's wife (who is not Aphrodite).

Hint: Pay attention to her statue and see if there's anything peculiar about its pose.

No it's not that one lol. In this room, you pull this lever and these giant platforms rise from the water, you climb them before they go back down, get to the top, kill guys and then who knows?!?!

haha yeah, the first time i played that game, i spent about 15 minutes in there going WTF? where is the door?

The anticipation for me to be able to play this game is building. My wife bought it for me for Christmas and she won't let me have it till then. I have never played the games before even when they were on PS2.

So my GOW3 demo finished downloading last night and WOW, it's actually BEAUTIFUL hahaha!

The amount of detail in everything, the special effects for the different orbs, the flames, the bloodshed, it's all amazing! Though i couldn't get past the part where you fly up the shaft thing and dodge stuff lol.

Just curious (i don't care if this is ruined for me), how come in GOW3 Kratos doesn't have his magical abilities from the first game?

have you not played GOW2 yet? telling you the answer will seriously ruin the ENTIRE plot of the second game

wrapping up the end of GOW 2 myself, just getting to Clotho and man does this game like to bring the hammer down the closer you get to the end or what? I remember the phoenix chamber absolutely infuriating me when I originally played it on the PS2, and this time it was like cake.

Can't wait to see the epicness of GOW3.. just love these games.

yeah, i was soo pissed the first time i played that part too, it took FOREVER to figure it all out, but going through on the PS3, i died i think twice before i remembered the trick, there were quite a few places in both games that happened

What are these tricks you speak of

I've never played any of these and am waiting for it to come (hopefully he can get down are street because of the snow.)

I just started God of War 1. What a great game. I played GoW2 before but only the first few missions completed.

I did finish the PSP GoW.

I look forward to finishing both of these over holidays with anticipation of GoW3.
