I think he meant it is region free disc like all other indian blus but currently set for release in India only.

No, I got what that meant. Just wondering why make an India-only release and then make a Universal one when you can just save the time, effort, and money on one consistent one. Ah well.

Yeah, i was thinking the same thing...

I really don't know how i'll get this one. Shipping from India doesn't seem to nice to me lol.

The TAMIL version was way better than the HINDI version. The Hollywood version is the undeniably the best version of the movie but wasn't given proper treatment by SONY.

It's not about who authored it but apparently the HD SR tape (Source) was not top notch.

Guess folks in India have not seen top notch Hollywood BD releases, so when they compare the Indian BD against the abominations (VCD and Indian DVDs), it is day and night difference for them and hence they approve for replication. Sorry mate, it's going to be a while before these jokers realize what a botched job these BDs are.

Kudos to Sunny and Ayngaran for maintaining the consistency. The new Ayngaran release - Kanthaswamy beats Sivaji by a hairline. Excellent work.

The DVD was pretty good. Two discs, main disc had good quality and the second one had ample amounts of extras. So I'd say go with whatever works for your wallet.
