I never watched that show. I soon found out after what she had done before TCM, but that was the first time I saw her. Better late than never!

Gotta go with The Thing here , as much as I do like the original Carpenter's one is superior in all levels.
Romero's Dawn of the Dead is IMO the greatest horror film of all time so Synder's remake had a hard act to follow, but I must say I did enjoy his reimagining of it too.
As for worst, well out of what I have seen there i would say The Wicker Man.
Also you forgot to mention all the Hammer remakes from the 50's and 60's IMO some amazing films completely forgotten about here -
