Great list. I love the variety you have. I particularly like your inclusion of Amelie, which is impossible to dislike, and The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, which is just very unique. I also like that you included a Disney film, although for me I am torn between Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King.

That's great. I just cut and pasted my top 15 from the list of 50 I made for Romulus' Top 50 thread

Beauty and the Beast is very meaningful, but The Lion King just arrests every child that watches it. I think it's a very important film to include. Diving Bell is simply brilliant and Amelie expresses a vision that has something for everyone with marvel at every turn.

Yeah I was bored this week and sat down and made a list...but its not set in stone as its only a list of the films I have seen up until today. My top 100 does not get cracked too much though and it would have to be a film to knock me off my feet to crack the top 50! I will say that The Fountain made it pretty low on my list for having just been intro'ed to it my higgy.

My 100 favorite films (so far) that I have seen. I still have so many to see....heck I have so many in my 1001 films to see before you die book that I have not had the pleasure yet. Feel free to slam on the list!

In no particular order...but these tend to change a lot. There are so many to pick from.

Taxi Driver
Memento
Empire Strikes back
Zodiac
Raging Bull
The Dark Knight/Batman Begins
The Lion King
Heat
The Lord of the Rings Trilogy
Ratatouille
The Shawshank Redemption
Mulholland Drive
The Departed
City of God
Toy Story

As you can see I am a bit of a Scorsese freak. This list came out to be a little crime oriented.

+1...I am impressed Elvis..The English Patient.., JFK, Downfall...I still feel that JFK is a great piece of cinema. It is very entertaining and the 3.5 hours go by extremely quick.

Why is Ben Hur so low?...
