Any one getting Conan for PS3 - Page 2 - Blu-ray Forum

I tried the demo on the PS3 and thought I was playing the Nintendo 64.

The game looks like crap and the play is uninspiring. I'd rather spend the money on three worthless HD DVD movies.

I loved the hacking and slashing. This one will be a rental for sure.

After playing the demo, I can honestly say I am not buying this title.

Looks like a dumbed down (HIGHLY dumbed down) version of Heavenly Sword, with bad graphics and bad voice acting. I loved Heavenly Sword.

Unless there is a 100% improvement before the official release, there is no chance of me buying this game.

Actually the one thing I liked most on the Game was Conan's voice actor. It seemed more 'real' to me rather than 'video gamey'

I just downloaded the demo, I actually heard it was pretty good... I loved the Conan movies. Heard that the demo is really gruesome and brutal, gotta check it out.

There's nothing wrong with taking off a dude's head and/or arms. It's a fun hack & slash. But... it looked like it was ported from last generation consoles.

How do I download a video game demo? I've seen it discussed on several threads. I own a PS3, but I've never downloaded anything to it.

This is a definite must not buy for me. Especially after playing the R&C demo.

It seems so unpolished. The sound it makes when you hit someone with your sword is just "lame". I played it for about 5 minutes then deleted it off of my HDD. People who were claiming this game would be better than heavenly sword are just outta their minds.

Wow dude, its not that bad. We've all seen and played much worse.

Downloaded the demo, I wasn't expecting much since people said it wasn't very good. And I, unfortunately, have to agree. The story might be ok, but the textures and character models are just embarassing. The gameplay is complicated and boring. And I loved Heavenly Sword, so unless this game gets perfect scores from every reviewer, I won't get it. My money is going to Insomniac. And I played the Conan demo for 2 minutes and quit, it was so bad, especially compared to the awesome Ratchet demo.

I didnt finish the demo. Maybe if there are some hooters as promised in the demo I will finish it just for s'n'g.

I don't think they're in the demo. I doubt they'd do that. But I saw a magazine ad for the game and on the ESRB logo it mentioned the game having nudity.

yes. it was crap. complete crap. worse PS3 game ive ever played. It was terrible.

Voice acting had long pauses between sentences, Graphics looked like a PS1 game, Sound was god-awful, sure, it was gorey- too bad there wasnt many ways of killing them...
Anyone notice that the people you save from the cages (that had the same animation in and out of the cage) just ran off into thin air? Where the hell did they go???

Watching the covenant was better then playing this crap for 10 mins before i quit it due to lack of any "good" in it.

Its also a god of war clone. A sucky god of war clone at that.

Hell, even the controls are the same. "Tap O to open the cage!" " Push X to jump" "Push {} to attack" "Push triangle to do a slow mo grapple" Etc etc.

Not buying this game. can you tell?
