Minimum viewing distance?

Thanks Disky, but I wasn't asking about the screen size this projector is able to throw but the minimum viewing distance - how far away should I sit from the screen.

That link also shows the recommended viewing distance. It's not as obvious as some of the other info it gives you, but it is there.

12 feet and 120" should be fine. I don't put much stock in most recommended viewing distances, it's more to do with personal preference. I sit 8 feet from my 120" screen and I personally could stand to sit even closer.

My front row is about 10 feet from a 100" 16:9 / 92" 2.35:1 screen.

Back row is about 14 feet (info in my gallery is not correct - Beta called out my error and I remeasured).

Yeah, I like it. It's also nice for split screen videogames. Each person still has a decent size viewing area, even on 4-player mode.

As far away as you feel is the bestSeriously:That's the correct distance.Can never understand why some feel that a viewing-distance has to be universally correct for everyone

I want a 2.35:1 screen, but my room dimensions don't allow it because I have my front towers to worry about and they are as wide as they can go. So, I am limited to a 92" 16:9 screen for my HT. I could sit closer than the 13 feet I sit away now, but I didn't want to sacrifice the room's aesthetics.

Yes...i agree with everyone else. It's your personal prefrence. I sit 8 feet from a 106" screen. With 1080P...you can sit close because of the clear picture
