Don't use power-hungry speakers with this, it's an 8-ohm rated unit, and that means 8 ohms, don't run any risks.

Wish I still had my Pioneer SA-9500II Integrated! Alas someone walked off with it a few months while in storage.

i loved my sansui to death!

word of precaution tho, id suggest to check on most of the knobs to see if they're working properly. im sure its easy to fix ground issues or interference, but we might as well be cautious in the first place. last thing i want to hear in stereo is crackling noise because i tried to turn it up a bit using the volume knob.

oh, double check as well the power cord. any nips or cuts are a fire hazard. lots of people i know dont even look at that part.

Excellent advice Jomari. I should be sure to have an audition of the unit before putting out the cash. You're right, vintage electronics has a strange way of picking up static through the control knobs. That would be a major drag.

I just picked up a Sansui AU-999 on CL for 120.00. It's in mint condition and sounds wonderful, I'll have to post some pics.
