Hi,Paul,Buddy.
Sorry for the Long Delay this Morning.

I spent the morning taking the closet door down and getting the closet emptied out. Then I boxed up some items and placed them in the closet.

A temporary storage spot until I get started on making the closet a Media Center and Display Cabinet. Then I can see what items I will keep in the room and where they will go.
And what items I can either store in the Garage or the Exterior Storage Building.

So,for a normal individual(or myself about 6 years ago),I would have had all that done in less then 45 minutes, instead of a couple of hours.

(But,I consider myself Blessed that I can still do that at all)

So how have you been this morning.
Still bone-chilling cold down there in Florida?

And,I know I should probably stop asking. But any feedback from Elemental Design regarding the A2-300 sub you ordered to give you a matched set of those eD subs.

Hey buddy, glad to see you making progress with your closet. This has been a crazy week already at work, so I haven't had a lot of time the last few days to hang out in the forums. Between meetings, production, overseeing staff, I feel like I've gotten nothing else done.

It is still cold. 28 again this morning. I'm so tired of it. I don't want the super hot summer, but I would really settle for 50's or 60's right about now. Normally we get cold for a day or 2, and then it warms back up. It is extremely rare for us to get this cold for such a lengthy period of time (almost 2 weeks now). All I can say is "I'm over it!"

Nothing new to report on the sub. Still waiting. Last Friday they told me 3 - 5 business days before it ships.

Glad to see you're doing better my friend. Not to harp on the whole birthday thing (as I know it's already on your mind), but what day this week is it?

Sorry work has been so busy for you lately.
But I assume that with most jobs, You have Busy Periods and Slow Spells.

And I think everyone in the entire US would all agree with the temperature readings. I would walk on nails for 2 to 3 Sunny Days with our Average Temp of 50 degrees being met.

I wouldn't know what to do.Might have to get some charcoal and fire up the grill just to enjoy the warm day.
But,Honestly a Sunny 40 degree Day with little to No Wind Chill would be Welcomed Also.

And I have this Evening and tomorrow to last as my last 31 1/2 hours before I exit my Thirties. And I cant wait(Statement filled with sarcasam).
But I should be Greatful to be here for my 40th B-Day(Which Occurs Thursday).

I am Really Thrilled to Hear that they actually gave you an estimated time for the New A2-300 to be Shipped. Finally some progress is being made.Congratulations are in order for that outstanding news,My Friend.

But even though my body doesnt Love the Tackling these Projects I keep lining up.My Mind certainly does Enjoy Them. And after a Period Of Getting A Lot of Projects Completed Successfully,

My Home Theater System~Audio System~Subwoofer~Building My Own Speakers From A Kit~Collectible Display~Star Wars Wall~And A Closet That Becomes A Media Storage Library/Display Cabinet;will all be Appreciated and Benefit From these Projects.

And long before these are completed ,I will probably have 3 new projects for every 2 I complete.

Well Have a Wonderful Evening Paul,My Friend. I Look Forward to chatting with you Soon,Buddy!

I will be 100% Honest,my Friend.
It wont hurt my Feelings whoever wins the Game Between the Saints and Cardinals.
But I do believe the Saints wll walk away with that game before halftime.

And even though I am a Dallas Fan,I think the Vikings will win.
Dallas is about a Year away from being ready to make a Superbowl Run.

To be Honest,I wan to see Favre go out like Elway did with 1 or 2 Superbowl Titles(Even though Favre already has one).

In the AFC,I believe it will be a Battle of the QB's.Philip Rivers and Payton Manning.

And this is one Superbowl, that I DIDNT See a Clearcut favorite.
But It wont hurt my feelings if the Saints win it All.

I want to see a Team that hasn't one it before(if Dallas Cant). So,I will be waiting for and looking forward to a Great Playoff Weekend.

Especially if the games are like they were this past weekend.Saturday and Sunday had some of the Best WildCard games I have EVER Seen.

John,my Friend here is a small floor shot of my closet its 36 inches wide X 23 inches deep.

Not a large area but I should be able to build or buy something to go in there that will serve 2 puposes.

One is Media Storage. So I can have an area to store my Blu-Rays,DVD's,and CD's.And I would Love to have enough room for 100 to 150 from the start. And a chance to expand it if I find the need 2 months or 2 years down the road.

And then a Display Area to Showcase the Movie~TV Show Collectibles I have,as well as the Others I hope to add to my Collection. And some Clear(glass~plastic~plexiglass shelves)And sometype of Clear Front like a Door or Removeable Panel to at least Cover the Collectibles.Or if it covers the entire area(media library and collectible display) will be fine.

And Finally I got the (4) 11.75 inch wide Shelves added to my Star Wars Wall.

They will be used to hold some Star Wars Specific Collectibles.

And I have a plan to add Both a Decorative Touch and Added Support to the Shelves.
So they will look even Better with-in the next few days.

In my haste to tell you about my sub, I overlooked this post. Sorry buddy. Looks good! I tell you, I've been a big time fan of Star Wars since I was an itty bitty little guy. My old man bought one of the first VCRs back in the day, which he claimed was for me to watch Star Wars. Then, of course, when he and my mother got divorced, he wanted to take it with him. My mother told him "No...that's for Paul to watch Star Wars!" That thing worked for about 20 years until it finally died out about 10 years ago. It was like a boat anchor - as big as a suit case!

Good job on the theme, my friend. Down the road when I can get a dedicated room like you have, I'll do something similar. I love the posters and lightsabers!

I should be saying you don't wanna know that answer, but to be honest, it stopped in my shoulder and now is starting in my elbow and it's kicking my azz right now.

I am so sleepy and I can't sleep. When it was in my shoulder I was able to sleep for some weird reason.

It feels like I feel from the roof of a house and landed on that elbow. You know how when you hit your elbow really hard and if you wait the pain goes away, well the frackin pain is not going away.

Well we have a little over a week before Caprica starts and I am counting down the days.

I’m trying to remember if you said you seen it or have not see it yet?

Sorry you're still having Issues with the Pain.
I hope in some way it finally begins to ease up,even if its just partially or for a few days.

A couple of days straight without the pain,so you could rest and keep your mind off of it, would do wonders.

I still haven't seen Caprica or the Plan.
I almost bought the Plan yesterday as the price dropped a few dollars. But when I get up this morning its back up to $20.00.

And I will buy the Movie for Caprica soon.
I wont watch it on TV.I never do. I didn't watch a single episode of BSG on TV.

I wait for the Box Sets to be released and watch them that way. So,I am Pretty Sure with ALL of the Many BSG Fans flocking to Caprica,it will be around for its expected run.

So,when Season 1 is released I will be puchasing it.
Its just with TV,I am never up that late. And I hate watching a show, where if I miss an episode or two I lose my place. And,commercials, drive me Crazy.

Thats why I Loved BSG so Great.Watching 1 episode a day. Or a Day full of episodes (4 or 5) in a Row.It allowed me to Love the Show So Much more.

And as soon as Season 1 takes a Price drop I will be adding it to my collection.
And if I am fortunate the Caprica Box Sets will be in Blu-Ray.(Its Possible since the BSG sets were originally in Standard DVD).

But I WILL Support Caprica just in a different way.Especially since(if it didn't come on TV at 4PM)I would be in Bed long before its 8 or 9PM air time.

Good morning Todd, HAMP!

Sorry to hear about your continuing problems with the gout, HAMP. A friend of mine gets it really bad in his foot at times, and he says it's really painful. Hope it goes away soon!

And Todd, how was your day yesterday?

John

Hamp hopefully your Doctor can help you out with the pain meds. Im not sure what is prescribed for Gout but I know when I broke my hand my Doctor didnt want to give me much pain meds b/c so many people were abusing them. Its kinda sad that the mistakes of others hurt the ones who really need the meds. I hope it all works out for you man.

Good Morning,John,my Friend.

Yesterday kept me Busy.
I got the closet door off and took out the last few items in the closet.
Took a few pics, got the dimensions, and then boxed up some loose items that were in my room.

I figure I can leave them in the closet until I figure out where to put them once I start transforming the closet around the first week of February.

Then I also got the Four wall shelves installed on the Star Wars Wall(I have a decorative touch I will be doing to the shelves by this weekend).

So,I stayed busy yesterday.A little tired and sore this morning but thats the price you pay.

So How About You,Buddy.
Did you have a Good Day,Yesterday?

And what does your Wednesday look like?
Great I really hope.

Hi Todd!

I saw the pics of your closet and the 4 shelves (looks nice btw). That closet looks like the perfect size to house your BD's and some additional shelves for your collectibles.

The problem, as you probably know, is the depth of the closet for housing the BD's. Here's a thought that may overcome that. Have you looked at getting a cabinet with drawers that slide out so you could house the BD's in there? This would allow for maximum utilization of the space for BD's.

My day is starting earlier than most. I'll be leaving in about 45 minutes for work, but I'll be back mid-afternoon, which is nice! Have to pick up my 2 packages from Canada Post that contain my anticipated BD's from Brent and Amazon UK.

John
