A buddy of mine at work who is both a blu-ray supporter and hd-dud supporter that gives me a hard time because I only support blu set his new HD-DUD copy of Transformers on my desk at work this morning with a sticker that said "NOT ON BLU-RAY!", thought it was kinda funny but I'll stand my ground for now.

Default Will get DVD

I will pick this up on DVD. I know many here do not like that, but I would like to see this and am not a big fan of renting.

But, yes, obviously few of us here buy HD DVD. For that reason, I think we should stop calling them DUDers. They are our half brothers, after all.

Some still buy DVD, but many of us are blu-blooded converts, wether you admit it or not.
No, I don't think any less of you or your brother. It's yours and his money to waste. I am just explaining my reasons. And although I don't condone anything illegal, there are other options.

I'm format neutral so I had to buy the HD-DVD today. Actually I bought 2 thanks to Circuit City offering the BOGO deal for HD-DVD's as well as Blu-rays

Transformers is not the kind of movie that I will be waiting for more than a year to get. It is over-hyped more than likely. Therefore I will simply rent the SD DVD in BB for kids to watch it now.

Overall it's 4.5 stars.

What I don't understand is the lack of HD-audio, but it still recieves 5 stars for audio. When Parmount has ask why they didn't have HD audio, their reply was lack of Space.

I think I'll wait for Blu-ray and have HD Audio.

I think you guys should ban SBrooks1 for posting that on a BR site, not only did he buy it, he bought two of them and bragged about it here, why two, all that is going to do is help the Nielson numbers next week, at least he could of done was buy a couple of BR discs to offset the HD DVDs.

Oh calm own. About 50% of us are still holding out for BD. Really shocked to see how many are caving to DVD. Should we ban our own members as well? Let's not become like AVS here.

I'm getting the HD DVD, but waiting until the 2nd week so as to not contribute to week 1 sales.
