Great price for 3 included games.

Hell, I've held off buying SotN for PS3 off PSN due to this game, although the PSP-Slim TV-OUT sort of sucks due to it not being full screen...might just by the PSN version of SotN in a month or two if the PSP-Slim doesn't get a firmware upgrade to fix this issue.

It's Castlevania SOTN, I don't care how many versions there are I will buy it. Heck I even have the Japanese Sega Saturn version with the new areas and characters. I bought the PSN game to have a digital copy of the original game that I could take with me, especially since you can copy your original save from your PS1 memory card and put it on the PSP. I love how the PSP and PS3 work together.

If I could afford it, I'd be all over it. But with so many great titles hitting PS3/PC my "hobby" money is sort of dried up.

If I get that OT at work next week, maybe I'll dip for it. Do you have the PSN version, how does it look at 1080p?

The PS1 downloads only are shown in 480i/p (to my knowledge). The game looks just like it did back in 97 just a little sharper, though only when played on PS3 on PSP the image is a little muddy especially if you have the PSP format it to 16:9

Downloaded PSone games can be upscaled and smoothed just the same as CD-based PSone games.

I thought Lament of Innocense on the PS2 was pretty damn good.

We need the great minds that turned Zelda into a great 3-D game to work on making Castelvania a great 3-D game

Never noticed it looking any better then the original, I am running the PS3 in 720p via HDMI (gaming TV only goes up to that) it does fill most of the screen, so I assumed it was running in 480p as thats what my PS2 runs with component cables and fills the screen the same ammount. The 3-D games could be better but Lament was a good game and Curse of Darkness wasn't all that bad.
